About Toro
Toro is a korean restaurant in Fishkill, New York. It is listed at 1004 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524, which places it among the local businesses of Fishkill that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Fishkill, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (845) 897-9691. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, torofishkill.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 498 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Fishkill and suggests consistent service.
Fishkill is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Fishkill is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Love this place. Order the bossam and it was delicious, as well as the bibimpap. It's one of the best Korean food I've ever had.

I really enjoyed their authentic Korean dish with my husband. I had Korean cold noodle (Naengmyeon) and grilled eel with the rice. It was all delicious and everyone was so nice and sweet there. If you love Asian food and Korean dish you should come to Toro! I love their authentic food :)π©·

delicious food and wonderful service! will definitely be back to this flavor-gem in an often bland neighborhood! slight dislike of the overly bright and abundant lighting in the dining room (wish they would turn off the in-set lights and just have the garlands and globes), but that's a personal preference so i'm not going to down-mark the stars, just mention it here π

Iβve been coming to Toro since I was a kid. Whenever my family wanted sushi this was our go to spot. Only a few years back I realized the owners were Korean and that they had a beautiful Korean menu as well. The food, service, and atmosphere has always been great but my recent visit was exceptional. I was so excited to try authentic Naeng Myun and the banchan that came with it was soo good. Iβm so happy to see this family with a full restaurant after so many years. I canβt wait to come back!

As unbias as one can be this establishment is just too hard to critique on it. Everything from the taste of the food, to the service, the variety, the portion size, it's all worth the prize. Sure it may be a bit expensive but they got lunch deals that practically give you plenty of your money worth for the amount you will get. Not to mention they got lunch deals on the sushi plates as well. Truly a hidden gem in the area and a must with friends and family. Pros: - A lot of variety (food/drinks) - Wheelchair accessible - Portion size - Customer service - Cleanliness - Friendly staff [Bonus] There's lollipops as a thank you treat for eating at the establishment. Cons: - It can feel a bit expensive outside lunch - Lighting is a bit dim but not too drastic
